Mlada Beograđanka je studentkinja master studija Fakulteta muzičke umetnosti u Bogradu, kao i Univerziteta za muziku i primenjene umetnosti u Gracu, a dobitnica je brojnih nagrada i stipendija, od kojih izdvajamo prve nagrade na uglednim međunarodnim takmičenjima „Davorin Jenko“ i „Ohridski biseri“.

Ana Kaličanin rođena je u Beogradu, 1990.godine gde je završila nižu i srednju muzičku školu „Mokranjac“ u klasi mr Monike Lašanc. Osnovne akademske studije završila je na Fakultetu Muzičke Umetnosti u klasi profesora Ljubiše Jovanovića, kao jedan od najboljih studenata svoje generacije. Trenutno je na master studijama na Fakultetu Muzičke Umetnosti u Beogradu u klasi profesora Ljubiše Jovanovića, kao i na Univerzitetu za Muziku i Primenjene umetnosti u Gracu u klasi profesora Nils Tila Kremera.
Nastupala je u koncertnim aktivnostima škole i fakulteta kao solista, član orkestra i kamernih sastava u svim većim muzičkim salama u Beogradu (Zadužbina Ilije M.Kolarca, Skupština Grada Beograda, Etnografski Muzej, Jugoslovensko Dramsko Pozorište, Sava Centar, Srpska Akademija Nauka i Umetnosti…), u Novom Sadu, Valjevu…kao i u Gracu gde nastupa kao solista, kamerni muzičar i član orkestra u svim značajnim salama (Stefaniensaal). Održala je brojne solističke koncerte.
Učestvovala je na brojnim takmičenjima i postigla izuzetne rezultate, od kojih se izdvajaju:
• II nagrada na republičkom takmičenju, u oblasti kamerne muzike, 2008. godine
• I nagrada na međunarodnom takmičenju „Davorin Jenko“, 2009.,a na istom takmičenju 2010. i 2011. godine osvaja II nagradu u kategoriji do 30 godina.
• I nagrada i naziv Laureata srednjih škola na susretima flautista „Tahir Kulenović“, u Valjevu, 2009.godine, gde i 2010. I 2011. godine osvaja I nagradu.
• Na međunarodnom takmičenju „Ohridski Biseri“ u Makedoniji, 2011.godine, osvaja I nagradu u kategoriji flaute do 25 godina, a u finalu celog takmičenja, među svim prvonagrađenima (u konkurenciji drvenih i limenih duvačkih instrumenata i harmonike)osvaja II nagradu.
• 2013. Na međunarodnom takmičenju „Ohridski biseri“ u Makedoniji, osvaja maksimalnih 100 poena i I nagradu, a u apsolutnoj kategoriji III mesto.
• 2013. Godine, na takmičenju „Flautski razgovori“, u okviru Fakulteta Muzičke Umetnosti, dva puta za redom, bila je apsolutni pobednik.
Bila je aktivni učesnik mnogih majstorskih kurseva kod priznatih evropskih i svetskih flautista, kao što su Jane Tomson , Mišel Debost, Feliks Rengli, Laura Levai Aksin, Ljubiša Jovanović, Mikael Helasvo, Dejan Gavrić, Euhenija Moliner, Mihael Kofler, Janoš Balint, Elizabet Koh.
2013. kao stipendista Internacionalne Letnje Akademije – ISA13 – International Summer Academy (Pajerbah, Austrija) pohađa dvonedeljni master klas renomiranih profesora – Kersten MekKol i Andrea Liberkneht, i u oblasti kamerne muzike – Gotfrid Pokorni.
Pored angažmana u simfonijskom orkestru Fakulteta Muzičke Umetnosti i orkestru „Kamerata Serbika“, Ana je član Hora Flauta „Flautino Lola Klasik“ u okviru Kulturno Umetničkog Društva „Lola“ sa kojim je nastupala na muzičkom festivalu „Bemus“. Takođe, održan je i koncert u okviru „Dragstora ozbiljne muzike“, kao i mnogi drugi koncerti i nastupi.
Stipendista je Fonda za mlade talente, opštine Savski venac, grada Beograda i dobitnik nagrade „Dositeja“ za postignute izuzetne rezultate u školovanju.
Ana Kaličanin was born in Belgrade in 1990 where she attended elementary and secondary music school „Mokranjac“ in class of Prof. Monica Lasanc. She finished her Bachelor studies at Faculty of Music Arts Belgrade in the class of Prof. Ljubisa Jovanovic with gratest marks as the best student of her generation. At the moment she is studying master degree program at Faculty of Music Arts Belgrade in class of Prof. Ljubisa Jovanovic, and also at University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz (Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz), Austria in class of Prof. Nils Thilo Krämer.
She has performed in many concert activities organised by school and faculty as a soloist, member of orchestra and chamber ensembles in all major music halls in Belgrade (Great Hall of “Kolarac” National University, City hall of Belgrade, the Ethnographic Museum, Yugoslav Drama Theatre, Sava Center, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. ..) and Novi Sad, Valjevo and abroad: Banja Luka, Slovenia (Slovenian Philharmonic hall), and also in Graz where she performs as solo, chamber and orchestra musican in major halls in Graz (Stefaniensaal).She has given numerous solo recitals.
She has participated in numerous competitions and has achieved remarkable results, such as:
* Second prize at a National competition in the field of chamber music, year 2008
* First Prize at the International Competition „Davorin Jenko“, in 2009, and at the same competition in 2010 and 2011 she has won second prize in the category up to 30 years.
* First prize and the “Laureate” title at the competition“The Encounter of Flutists – Tahir Kulenović” in Valjevo(Serbia), 2009, where she has won the first prizes in 2010 and 2011 as well.
* She has also won the first prize at the International Competition „Ohrid Pearls“ in Macedonia, 2011, in the flute category up to 25 years, and in the Great final, in which winners from all instrument categories have participated (wind instruments and accordions),she has won the Second prize.
* 2013 At the competition „Flute conversations“ of Professor Ljubisa Jovanovic’s class in the Faculty of Music, she was an absolute winner two times.
*Also, at 2013 she won 100 points and First Prize on International Competition „Ohrid Pearls“, Macedonia, and in absolute category – Third Prize.
She was an active participant in many master classes with renowned European and world flutist, such as Jane Thompson, Michel Debost, Felix Renglli, Laura Levai Aksin, Ljubisa Jovanovic, Michael Helasvuo, Dejan Gavric, Eugenia Moliner, Michael Kofler, Janos Balint, Elizabeth Koch.
In addition to continuous engagement in the symphony orchestra at Faculty of Music and Orchester „Camerata Serbica“ Ana is a member and leader of Flute Choir „Flautino Lola classic“ in the Cultural Artistic Society „Lola“ with whom she has performed at major music festivals such as „Bemus“. Ana won scholarshipis of the Fund for Young Talents of Belgrade, and she is winner of the price „Dositeja“ for exceptional performance during her education.
